Our Founder, Jamie Meyer, never set out to be an Entrepreneur much less a Traveler. On the day she gave away just about everything she owned, Jamie made the decision to embark on a journey that she couldn't have imagined. 
Somewhere in the mild panic attack she had, sitting on the floor of a storage container, giving away the last box of her things, she decided. Decided that she had to and had to without really knowing how or why. Let alone what was going to happen next.
Jamie had a fledging company [this company] , a car, two suitcases and a plane ticket to a destination that she was entirely unsure about. Turned out that Jamie was right to be unsure and again found herself giving away more of her things, standing over two suitcases with absolutely no idea what to do. So, she went on an adventure, one that she had been dreaming of since she was a teenager, ticking off a long list of things that she never thought she would see or do.

Jamie continued to follow that path, using her experiences to further inform and invest in her company. And in 2022, launched Jamie Meyer Enterprises. For her designing our parent company and its purpose has been nothing short of surprising and extraordinary. It is a culmination of the answers she sees for the problems we face, animated by the solutions we are asked to create.

2023 has been the most incredible and inspiring year and while it has come with a plethora of challenges, they have been far outweighed by the exceptional. With all this year has held, it is difficult to believe that it was only four years ago that Jamie Meyer embarked on a journey that would change her life entirely.

When embarking on any journey, there are moments when one wonders, "Am I being overly ambitious? Can I truly achieve this?" However, as we progress along the path, we find ourselves less concerned with whether it's possible and more focused on pushing the boundaries of our own limitations, we consider whether we are being ambitious enough. Transitioning from self-questioning to self-daring.

Every day, we find ourselves fortunate to witness moments of wonder, a testament to the dedication and hard work of our Teams and the Clients we work with. Amid that unwavering commitment, we are repeatedly bestowed with the gift of witnessing progress and change unfold before our very eyes. We believe that if you are not happy while pursuing your goals, the achievement of them won't make you happy either. This is what distracts us and Jamie from taking a step back to contemplate just how much has transformed over the past four years. Our usual focus remains fixated on what we are designing, enjoying it as it unfolds and what lies ahead.

With Jamie being acknowledged as one of the Top Social and Economic Development Women Entrepreneurs of 2023, it has provided a rare moment of reflection. At the heart of every endeavour we undertake lies a foundational principle: how can we create a sustainable global impact on social and economic development while concurrently generating profit to drive this mission across diverse sectors? This aspiration is so deeply ingrained in our company that we seldom pause to recognise the magnitude of our contribution toward this purpose.
