Nine Carat exists to recognise great assets. Generate importance of everyone's Goals. And multiply Success. We are determined to; 1. Design a more dynamic and effective Society. 2. Reach new ideas of Success through redesigning foundations and frameworks. 3. Capitalise on what we have, recognise what could be available to us and make it happen.
I am the woman in the bathroom giving women random advice. The one who comes over for a dinner party and ends up in the kitchen talking with your children about what they want to do with their lives and how to get there. I live to inspire and empower people to see they are capable of more than they realize.
I am Jamie Meyer. A travelling Entrepreneur from Australia.
I studied to be a Fashion Designer. But decided to go rouge and collect capital to fund my own line. At 17, the only way I knew how to get that kind of capital was to work full time. I finished my first Certificate and landed a job as a Receptionist. The joke was on me, when I realised how much I loved the nuances of Business. How I could apply my creativity to a process driven entity. This became the beginnings of building my career. Becoming the youngest and first female General Manager of a Company in the industry. Integrally integrating myself throughout the network, so that I was also working as a liaison for our biggest Client and our largest Service Provider. Both with my own credentials. Allowing me a platform to develop and design all three businesses at once.
The limitations I encountered when implementing strategies and visions, had me questioning how I could break all these rules, design my own and recalibrate People and Companies for Success. I started in freelancing, working with frameworks and integration of new business dynamics. My Client portfolio grew into coaching Entrepreneurs, which evolved into Organisational Coaching contracts and that extended into working with Individuals to define and conquer their ideas of Success in life and careers. Nine Carat was born to follow where I could design Success for Clients who wanted to find it. To face the things that challenge us head on. To overcome limitations we've wrongly adopted from our environments. Inspired by having a front-row seat to the Success others can achieve, in Life and Business.
Recognising patterns and finding correlations between seemingly unrelated ideas. And capitalising on what can result from them. One thing alone will not bring us closer to Success. Like in Ecosystems, we require a balanced and invested effort from all perspectives to thrive.
I’ve walked across muddy construction sites in 8 inch heels. Replaced toilets. Hand unloaded 20ft containers at 4am in the freezing cold. I’ve driven forklifts. Deep sea fished. Caught an Uber 7 hours up the coast of Mexico. Dragged 3 suitcases through the streets of Vietri Sul Mare. Travelled to countries where I didn't know the language. And started an International Company at 29 because I wanted to. You will find more books in my suitcases than clothes. I will try anything once. Sometimes twice to make sure I don’t like it. And when I die, at 103, I want my headstone to read, "I came, I saw and I conquered the most remarkable life. And gave that opportunity to others."
"You cannot play a small game and invoke change simultaneously." - Jamie Meyer
